13/01/2008 - Right hand elevator skeleton mated to its skin

Time to put the right hand elevator together.  The rivets were mostly squeezed and went together with out much fuss at all.  The screws were torqued to between 20 and 25 inch/lbs and then marked with green torque seal, which you can see in the 3rd picture below.  Made sure I used a bit of Duralac as well.

Time to roll the leading edge;  now having done the rudder already I was feeling confident; Bob was about to help; but it turned into quite a fiddle and took ages to get the correct bend using the broom handle and then smaller handles when bending the tighter radiuses.   In the end of after about two hours we got it right and I could finish it with some pop rivets.
